I hold a Diploma in Counselling and continue attending courses as part of my on-going professional development. I have recently undergone training for adult attachment, identity and bereavement issues and have also had additonal training in 'Mindfulness training' and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and work to their code of ethics. I was first accredited in 1997 with the Association of Christian Counsellors. I am currently accredited through the National Counselling Society (www.nationalcounsellingsociety.org).
I give regular talks on bereavement. I have a passion for restoring people and helping them to find better ways of managing life and gaining greater self awareness. I am a caring, sensitive counsellor, able to tailor the style of counselling to suit the individual client.
I am currently part of a Network of Counsellors for the Diocese of Rochester.
